100 Thieves Eliminated from StarSeries Fall Qualifiers by Nuclear TigeRES

100 Thieves have been eliminated from contention for a spot at the StarLadder StarSeries Fall following a 1-2 defeat to Nuclear TigeRES in the Europe qualifier's Group D.

In a closely contested match, 100 Thieves struggled on Nuclear TigeRES's chosen map, Ancient, where they squandered leads of 12-10 and 15-14, ultimately losing in double overtime. Håvard "rain" Nygaard delivered a strong performance on Mirage with a 1.66 rating, helping to level the series, but the team faltered on Inferno, where Ilya "flouzer" Selifonov shone for Nuclear TigeRES.

The defeat comes after 100 Thieves experienced a rollercoaster run in the qualifiers. They were initially relegated to the elimination match after a loss to Ninjas in Pyjamas but rebounded impressively with a significant upset victory over IEM Cologne Major champions Falcons in the BLAST Bounty Season 2.

Unfortunately, the momentum from that win did not carry over, resulting in a disappointing exit from the qualifiers. This setback also halts their ascent in the VRS rankings and eliminates their chance to compete in the StarSeries Fall, where they could have faced top teams like Vitality, FURIA, and Natus Vincere for a share of the $500,000 prize pool.
