Yastrzemski is expected to return to the lineup and take his place in the outfield for the game against San Diego's Walker Buehler.
In a related roster move, the Braves have released infielder Kyle Farmer, marking the end of his brief tenure with the team. Farmer participated in 12 games this season for Atlanta, and his future in the league remains uncertain as he navigates the next steps in his career.
