In a thrilling Summer League championship game, Yaxel Lendeborg showcased his skills by scoring 21 points and securing 10 rebounds, leading the Golden State Warriors to a decisive victory against the Memphis Grizzlies. The game, held in Las Vegas, saw the Warriors rally from a 10-point deficit at the start of the fourth quarter to win 94-40.

Lendeborg, the 11th overall pick in the recent draft, proved to be the standout player on the court, outshining Memphis's No. 3 pick Cameron Boozer. Throughout the Summer League, Lendeborg maintained an impressive average of 18.5 points and eight rebounds per game, earning him the MVP award for the tournament.

This championship marks Lendeborg's second title in just four months, having previously won the NCAA championship with Michigan. His performance has set high expectations for his role in the upcoming NBA season, where he is anticipated to receive significant playing time with the Warriors.
