Ninjas in Pyjamas Suspend Young Ninjas Academy Program

Ninjas in Pyjamas have officially announced the suspension of their Young Ninjas academy program, resulting in the release of all players and staff involved. This decision marks a significant shift for the organization as they evaluate the future direction of their competitive ecosystem.

In their statement, Ninjas in Pyjamas acknowledged the difficulty of this choice but emphasized its necessity for the organization’s long-term strategy. The Young Ninjas program has been recognized for its success in nurturing talent, with several players advancing to tier-one teams.

Among those released are Rūdolfs "rud" Osmanis, Dawid "tein" Śladkowski, Joe "joeski" Holmes, and Rasmus "Zitte" Johansson, who last competed under the Ninjas in Pyjamas banner during the European Pro League Series 7 in June.

The Young Ninjas academy has a notable track record of developing players, including Erik "ztr" Gustafsson, Linus "nilo" Bergman, Love "phzy" Smidebrant, and Kacper "xKacpersky" Gabara, all of whom have made the leap to higher levels of competition. Additionally, Roman "n0te" Hamze is currently on a temporary promotion to the main roster, highlighting the academy's role in player development.
