The Las Vegas Summer League has concluded its regular season, paving the way for playoffs and consolation games. Several former North Carolina players made notable contributions during the second week of the event, highlighting their potential in the NBA.

Veesaar of the Atlanta Hawks had a standout performance in his first game against the Boston Celtics, scoring 20 points and securing four rebounds. However, his team faced a significant setback in their final game against the Memphis Grizzlies, where they were outscored 32-2 in the first quarter. Veesaar managed only five points and three rebounds in that contest, leaving the Hawks' playoff hopes uncertain as they navigate a tie-breaker scenario.

Powell also experienced ups and downs in his games. After finally making his first shot of the Summer League against the Sacramento Kings, he recorded 18 points on 60% shooting. Unfortunately, his performance dipped in the following game against the Houston Rockets, where he scored just six points on one-of-six shooting. His team will not advance to the playoffs but will play again this weekend.

Wilson continued to impress, averaging 19.7 points, eight rebounds, and 2.3 blocks over three games for the Chicago Bulls. Despite missing some key matchups, he demonstrated his scoring ability and presence on the court, although he did accumulate 15 turnovers across those games. The Bulls are set to face the Cleveland Cavaliers in a consolation game on Friday.
