Liquid's ultimate Returns for BLAST Bounty Season 2 Amid Roster Changes

Team Liquid has announced that Roland "ultimate" Tomkowiak will rejoin their roster for the upcoming BLAST Bounty Season 2. This decision was made in compliance with BLAST's eligibility requirements, which stipulate that teams must include three members from a roster ranked in the VRS top 12.

Liquid's previous roster that met this criterion was established in December 2025 and included players such as Guy "NertZ" Iluz, Keith "NAF" Markovic, Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski, Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek, and Tomkowiak. The return of ultimate indicates a potential shift in the team's lineup, as reports suggest that siuhy may be replaced by Johnny "JT" Theodosiou ahead of the new season.

The inclusion of ultimate means that Liquid will have to postpone the introduction of their new AWPer, Georgi "Jorko" Mitev, who recently took over the sniper role from Tomkowiak. This news is particularly disappointing for a Liquid squad eager to improve after a challenging first half of the year, which nearly saw them miss out on qualification for the IEM Cologne Major.
