LeBron James Highlights Bronny's Recovery in TIME 100 Speech

LeBron James recently delivered an impactful speech while being honored on the cover of Time magazine's "TIME100 Most Influential People in Sports." In his address, he emphasized the significance of health and the role of sports in shaping his journey.

A key moment in his speech was dedicated to his son, Bronny, who experienced a sudden cardiac arrest during a basketball workout at the University of Southern California in July 2023. James praised the USC medical team for their timely intervention, which he credited with saving Bronny's life.

"Shout out my oldest son Bronny... if it wasn't for the coaching staff and the medical team at USC being there in a timely fashion, we'd possibly be sitting here without our son," James stated, reflecting on the seriousness of cardiac health in sports.

Following his recovery, Bronny played his freshman year with the USC Trojans and was later selected 55th overall in the 2024 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Lakers, making history as the first father-son duo to compete on the NBA court.

LeBron also urged parents to prioritize access to cardiac devices for young athletes, highlighting the importance of preparedness in preventing similar health incidents. As Bronny continues his career in Los Angeles, LeBron's advocacy for health awareness remains a central theme.
