ECSTATIC Faces Major Rebuild After Player Departures
59 days agoECSTATIC has confirmed the exits of Christian "Buzz" Andersen and Anton "Anlelele" Huynh after their contracts expired. This marks a significant shift for the Danish esports organization as they look to rebuild their roster.
In addition to the departures, Martin "nut nut" Holm Vestergaard is now on the transfer list. The organization has stated that if a suitable transfer is not secured in the coming weeks, he will remain with ECSTATIC for the next season.
The team has not competed in an official match since April, when they opted to bench all players except nut nut due to a disappointing performance that saw them drop out of the top 50 in the global VRS rankings. Following this, players Nico "nicoodoz" Tamjidi and Thomas "TMB" Bundsbæk transitioned to Phantom.
With these recent changes, ECSTATIC faces the challenge of finding five new players to fill the roster, especially if nut nut is successfully transferred to another team.
