Preston North End could submit Kevin Carlos bid
2026-07-16Preston North End could be set to submit an offer for OGC Nice’s Kevin Carlos (25), according to a report from Nice-Matin.
In a bid to decrease their wage bill, raise funds, and dip into the market themselves, Nice are looking to sell and sell in great quantity this summer. The club are notably desperate to offload Terem Moffi, who spent the second half of last season on loan at FC Porto, whilst Mohamed-Ali Cho is being strongly linked with a move to local rivals AS Monaco.
Ideally, however, Nice would likely rather offload Carlos, who signed for €6m from FC Basel last summer. The Spaniard has struggled greatly, with the centre-forward failing to score in 23 appearances in Ligue 1. His only goals (two) came in the UEFA Europa League.
He is already the subject of bids from Samsunspor, however, he has turned down the Turkish side’s advances so far. Nice-Matin understands that Preston North End could now join the race by submitting a bid of their own.
