The Magpies are eager to bolster their first-team squad by signing a versatile midfielder in the summer transfer window, and they are ready to intensify their efforts to secure his services.

The Tyneside outfit will soon submit a bid worth €46 million to sign the Florianopolis native in the summer transfer window. However, Newcastle United will not be alone in the battle for the South American midfielder’s signature, as he is also a target for Liverpool. However, €46 million may be enough to land the youngster, as Palmeiras’s asking price is around €45 million.
